Services
I’m an independent geotechnical engineer based in Whitehorse, Yukon, focused on mining, mine closure and dams in Canada’s North. I work with Indigenous governments, regulators and other interest holders to review geotechnical aspects of complex projects, from early studies through to closure and long‑term performance.
Before starting Grit Engineering Inc., I spent over twenty years in consulting and government roles, managing large‑scale mine remediation projects (Mount Nansen, Clinton Creek) and working as an engineer on northern diamond and mineral projects (EKATI, Jericho, Victor, Mactung, Bellekeno). I have experience with tailings facilities, dams, diversions and waste rock management in permafrost and discontinuous permafrost areas.
